Week #8:1 Social Networking

I liked this post because I don't really have to work as hard! I have a Myspace and a Xanga! My Myspace is set to private and that's convienint for me, so I can keep people that I don't know from looking at my page.

I like myspace because it lets me keep in in touch with my friends who don't live in Houston anymore. The same can be said for my Facebook, but unfortuantly for my friends I don't get on enough. I think what's unappealing for me in face book is that you can't personalize your page like you can in Myspace and Xanga. I change my background to whatever mood I'm in. If you are my friend on Myspace I have a Halloween theme currently.

My xanga's are my creative outlet. Before I got onto Myspace my Fire Elementian page was my daily outlet. My Mighty Misfits Xanga is what I use to write my short stories. Finally my last one Zercomes Wanted I started with my friend to talk about books and what ever was on our minds.

I think they're really fun!

Week #7:1 Wiki Wiki Wiki!!!

Well I have to say, I finally know what a Wiki is.



I really don't want to have another account someplace, but I do have an account on Wikipedia!



I love wikipedia, whenever I want to know something about an anime or manga that I want to start I go straight there! Gotta love my Wikipedia!!!

Week #6:3 Library 2.0

Libraries are timeless. There is just something magical in seeing stacks upon stacks of books! Sure going digital is convenient for some but give me a story printed and bound in my hand any day! I mean you can read a book on a dark an stormy night, what if the power goes out on you while you're in the middle of an ebook. Your up the creek without a paddle!

Bound books are collectables, valuable, timeless.

Well I'm officially behind a bit. It's been a little crazy here. But I've finally signed up for Technorati so I could claim this blog as my own! yeah me!

This is really useful!!!

It is a hassel trying to sync all the websites that I normally go to all the time on all the computers that I use! I'm definately going to use them on my home computers! So I just have to go to one website. And I like the conviencene in the tagging because I always find websites that I like and I always forget where I was now I can tag them and always remember!

I tried Library Elf and I would definately use it if I didnt' come to the Library like every single day! I love working here at the library! It's so much fun! Gotta love that steady paycheck too!! tee hee!

Week #5:1 Code Generators and Avatars

I like the avatar I have, but I made this Meez to just do it. I like her, she's exactly how I'd like to look if I wanted to dye my hair. I wear the cat ears and tail to all the conventions I go to though, so this girly and I have alot in common!!!

I went to FD toys again, I had a blast creating my magazine! I chose to make a cosplay magazine with yours truly on the cover! I'm dressed in my Temari Masquerade costume! I had fun, now i'm going to check out some of the other links!

I went to Feedster and Technorati to find RSS feeds.

I liked these tools becuase I was able to find some feeds on the topics I like, such as the Anime News Network feed!
